Charlottesville, Virginia's Gold Connections - led by songwriter, guitarist and lyricist Will Marsh - have revealed the third track from their forthcoming self-titled debut EP, due 31 March via ever-pace-setting indie home Fat Possum. With Car Seat Headrest mastermind Will Toledo featuring and working behind the desk, 'Isabel' is a wonderfully languid, slacker affair that winds its way through six minutes of increasingly intense and gently chaotic lo-fi rock. Of the track, Marsh says: "'Isabel' is not a song about a girl, but a blurred portrait of the circus we call love. It took two years to write because I kept on finding new bizarre angles...If Isabel is a girl then she's parading somewhere out of view." -G.O'B
